Who writes and reviews it
Every treatment page and article is written or reviewed by Dr. Anshuman Singh, M.S., M.Ch. Urology, Uro-Oncologist and Robotic Surgeon, Lucknow. Writing software may be used to prepare drafts. Nothing is published until Dr. Singh has checked the clinical content and approved it. The reviewer's name and the review date appear on each page.
Where the information comes from
- Current clinical practice guidelines, mainly from the European Association of Urology (EAU), the American Urological Association (AUA) and the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Each article lists the guidelines it follows.
- Peer-reviewed studies, cited by name or by topic where a statement depends on them.
- Dr. Singh's own clinical experience, which is described as experience and not presented as a study result.
What we do not do
- We do not promise results, give success rates as a guarantee, or compare Dr. Singh with other doctors.
- We do not use pages to sell a product or an unproven treatment.
- We do not publish anything that could identify a patient. Patient stories are shared only with consent.
How often pages are reviewed
Pages are checked at least once a year, and sooner when a guideline changes in a way that affects what a patient should be told. The "last reviewed" date shows when this was last done.
Independence
This website carries no advertising. If a financial relationship that could influence an article ever exists, it will be stated on that article.
A limit of every website
Information here is for education. It cannot take account of your own reports, health and preferences, and it does not replace a consultation. If you have symptoms that worry you, see a doctor. The pages on each cancer list the symptoms that need urgent care.
Report a correction
If you think a page is wrong, out of date or unclear, write to support@urooncoconnect.com or message +91-9559776664 on WhatsApp, with the page address and what you found. Corrections are reviewed by Dr. Singh, and the page is updated and re-dated when a change is made.
